Nurse Practitioner Danielle Hudson started with Dunkirk Family Practice in 2016. Prior to working in family medicine, she worked several years in the hospital setting as a registered nurse at Union Memorial and University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. After completing her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from University of Maryland in 2009, she worked several years in urgent care clinics throughout the state of Maryland, as well as the family health clinic on Andrews Air Force Base. NP Hudson is happy to call Southern Maryland home, and is proud to serve the community she lives in. She spends time with her husband and two children outside of work.
NP Hudson agrees with Dunkirk Family Practice's philosophy of proactive healthcare management. She wants her patients to be an integral and active part of their care, and encourages them all to undergo age-appropriate screenings. NP Hudson values patient engagement. "I think we all do an excellent job of listening to our patients at Dunkirk Family Practice, so we get to decide together with the patient what the best course of action is to keep our patients healthy".
